Documents to prepare

• The deceased's death certificate with certified translation
• The will, if any, with proof it was validly executed under the law of the place of execution
• House registration, birth and marriage certificates proving heirship
• Asset evidence: land title deeds, bank books, share certificates, policies
• Power of attorney for heirs abroad, attested by an embassy or notary
• ID or passport of every heir

How we run the case

1. Map heirs and assets — Identify statutory heirs, Thai and overseas assets, and which law governs each asset.
2. Collect and translate civil documents — Certified translations of the death certificate, house registration and relationship documents, legalised where used abroad.
3. Powers of attorney for heirs abroad — Wording drafted to satisfy the court or bank, attested at the embassy or by a local notary.
4. Petition for an estate administrator — Filed with the competent court by counsel, with fully translated evidence.
5. Transfer the assets — Land transfer, bank account closure, share transfer or policy claims under the court order.
6. Tax and reporting — Review inheritance and related tax exposure in Thailand and in the heirs' countries.
